Robot pencil case and coin purse decorated with textile markers

Create colourful robots with textile markers to make a unique pencil case and coin purse. Decorate them with your favourite colours – and remember that there are robots printed on both sides. The perfect back-to-school project for children

How to do it
1 Keep the marker from bleeding through the fabric by cutting a piece of cardboard from the box to place inside the pencil case.
2 Fold the cardboard and place it inside the pencil case.
3 Straighten the cardboard so that it covers the entire pencil case.
4 Decorate with textile markers.
5 Once the markers have dried after around 6 hours, iron the design to heat-set it. Remove the cardboard from the pencil case/coin purse.
Turn inside out and place baking paper inside and on top of the decoration. Iron on medium (cotton) heat for around 5 minutes.
After ironing, the colours will be permanent and can be washed up to 40 degrees.
