1   Shade the back of the printed design with a pencil to transfer the design to the Eva foam piece.

2   Place the shaded side on the Eva foam and then draw over the design on the front.

3   Cut out the design.

4   Peel the paper off the self-adhesive EVA foam.

5   Place the design firmly on the lid.

6   Measure the casting components: 150 g resin casting mix, 60 ml water and 3 ml paint.

7   Mix the casting powder with water and stir well until creamy.

8   Fill the lid, leaving around 1-2 mm of space from the edge. To prevent air bubbles from forming, lift the mould slightly from the bottom and then drop it again. Repeat several times for approx. 2–3 min. Air bubbles appear as small chips in the finished casting. Tip: If there are cracks/holes in the finished casting, you can fill them with a new mixture of resin. After it has hardened, sand the crack/hole to make it smooth and even.

9   Put a small amount of paint on the spatula and mix the paint in light, circular movements to create a marble effect.

10   Now fill the mould for the container, leaving around 1–2 mm empty from the edge.

11   Create a marble effect with the paint by following the same instructions as for the lid.

12   Gently tap the mould repeatedly for around 2-3 minutes because this causes any air bubbles in the casting to rise to the surface and burst.

13   Allow the casting to dry for around 4 hours before removing it from the mould.

14   Remove the Eva foam to reveal the print on the lid.

15   After the container has hardened for around 2-4 hours, sand away any unevenness with water and a sanding sponge.
