Crochet your own bucket hat with double ribbon yarn and thin cotton yarn for the perfect chunky look. The hat is one size fits all, but you can make it a little larger or smaller by using a different size crochet hook.

How to do it
1 Print out the instructions in PDF format found at the bottom of the page.
2 Start the bucket hat by crocheting two chain stitches with two threads – one thread in ribbon yarn and one thread in cotton yarn.
3 Crochet treble crochet stitches in the first chain stitch.
4 Crochet a total of ten treble crochet stitches.
5 Finish the row with a slip stitch in the first treble crochet stitch.
6 Make 2 chain stitches before starting the next row.
7 Crochet with ribbon yarn and a coloured cotton yarn on the top of the hat and crochet the middle section with two colours of cotton yarn.
8 Make the transition from the top to the middle section by crocheting treble crochet stitches in the back loop only.
