Fun Easter Figures in Silk Clay®

Silk Clay® is an easy-to-use modelling compound that sticks to a wide range of surfaces and can be used by children to shape into anything. For example, they can mould cute Easter figures out of Silk Clay® with lots of parts and fun details. This is a fun activity for young and old.

How to do it Download the templates/recipes
1 Cover the egg with the desired colour of Silk Clay® and smooth out the surface.
2 Shape different parts, such as sheep fur, feet, ears, tail, beak, head, etc.
3 Attach the parts while the Silk Clay® is still damp, so that they will stick. Allow to dry.
4 Pierce holes in the body for the chicken's and sheep's legs.
Sheep legs: Cut four equal pieces from the bamboo sticks. On the one end.
6 Shape Silk Clay® on the outside of the legs, except for the top 1.5 cm at the sharp end, which will be inserted into the body. Allow to dry.
7 Make sure the legs are of the same length so that the sheep can stand.
8 Knead the compound well and smooth it out while it is still supple because it dries relatively quickly.
9 While modelling, insert a pin into the egg so that you can work on the entire surface and leave it to dry in a mug or oasis block.
10 To make two feet of equal size, roll one large ball and cut it in half before modelling. The two parts will then be of the same size.
11 If the individual parts dry completely, they can be glued onto the figure with a glue gun.
