Create beautiful doves out of fine clay polymer. Add unique designs and patterns and use the doves as Christmas decorations – either on the Christmas tree or hanging from a branch

How to do it

1 Knead and soften the clay by hand for around 4 minutes.
2 Roll the clay thinly to a thickness of around 2–3 mm.
3 Place the stencil on top of the rolled-out clay and roll the design into the clay.
4 Cut the doves out of the clay.
5 Remove the excess clay and lift off the mould.
6 Make a hole for the hanging string.
7 Bake the clay in a preheated oven at 110 degrees for 18 minutes.
8 Cut a piece of string around 25 cm long.
9 Tie the string to the dove and add a bead.
10 Tie the other end and cut off any excess string.
11 Pull the knot down the back of the dove up to the bead. Now tie a knot on the hanging string close to the bead.
