1   Draw shapes onto recycled card. You may use old cardboard or corrugated card boxes.

2   Attach lolly sticks between the layers of the corrugated card.

3   Cover the card shape with gauze bandages. You may make the head and the arms from a strip of gauze bandage. Let the shape dry for 24 hours.

4   Paint the shape with A-Color glossy acrylic paint. Use a thin, round brush for painting facial features.

5   Make a stand or a base for the shape by cutting off the top of a milk carton. Insert the shape, suspended in the centre.

6   Fill the carton with plaster compound – approx. 5-8cm. When the plaster compound is solid, cut off the milk carton.
