Roll a cardboard tube approximately the same size as a toilet paper tube – or simple use a toilet paper tube. Close the end of the tube using a glue stick or stapler.
Roll yellow tissue paper around the outside of the chicken tube as an extra detail. Make sure the tissue paper is longer than the cardboard tube and twist and cut strips in the excess tissue paper to create the chicken’s head feathers.
Cut the various parts out of the cardboard: eyes, ears, paws, feet and beak.
Glue on the parts with a glue stick and allow to dry.
Decorate the figures with masking tape and strips of patterned paper.
Cut small eggs out of paper and glue them on using a glue stick.
Make decorations out of tissue paper, such as a dress, decorative balls or other details, and glue them on.
Decorate with sequins attached with glitter glue.
