Boy robot

Build the coolest little robot with lots of fun details. The robot is made out of stone clay, a unique modelling material with a rugged stone effect. It is then decorated with buttons made from beads and pipe cleaner antennae.

How to do it
1 Cover the polystyrene ball with Silk Clay® for the body.
2 Roll the ball until smooth.
3 Make the legs out of stone clay.
4 Cover a small polystyrene ball with stone clay for the head.
5 Make a square head with several pieces of stone clay.
6 Roll two pieces of Silk Clay® for the arms. Allow to dry so that they do not lose their shape when they are wrapped with a pipe cleaner.
7 Roll a piece of Foam Clay® into a circle large enough for the hat.
8 Attach the hat to the circle.
9 Attach the hat to the head.
10 Roll a piece of Silk Clay® for the mouth.
11 Cut two pieces of pipe cleaner to make antennae.
12 Place small balls of Foam Clay® on the ends.
13 Insert the antennae into the head.
14 Remove the paper from the back of the googly eyes.
15 Attach the eyes.
16 Gather the body parts – body, legs and two balls of Silk Clay®.
17 Attach two Foam Clay® shoes to the legs. Roll two balls out of Silk Clay and place them on top of the legs.
18 Attach the body to the legs.
19 Roll a ball out of Silk Clay® and attach it to the body.
20 Attach the head.
21 Wrap pieces of pipe cleaner around the dry arms and cut off the ends.
22 Shape two hands out of Foam Clay®. Roll one long piece and one ball out of Foam Clay® and stick them together.
23 Attach the hands to the arms.
24 Roll two balls for the shoulders and attach them to the arms.
25 Attach the arms to the body.
26 Decorate the robot with buttons. Attach a Foam Clay® ball to the stomach and press a bead into it.
27 Decorate with several beads and small buttons made out of foam clay.
28 Also decorate the back with buttons and beads.
